Safe and Healthy Communities

We all deserve safe, healthy communities to live in. That means investing in programs and policies that strengthen our community by caring for all of our people– from keiki to kupuna. Tina is committed to advocating for policies that help our multi-generational families thrive, like: establishing paid parental leave, protecting access to reproductive healthcare, fully-funding our public schools, and expanding access to early childcare and long-term care.

Tina believes that we make our communities safer, stronger, and more resilient when we invest in comprehensive systems of care; from a robust public school system, to expanded access to mental healthcare, to wrap-around services for our houseless ‘ohana, to community-based emergency preparedness.
